OMGoodness ... I'm so glad that I found you on Pinterest ... I think I'm in love! :-) Have added your blog to my blog roll ... don't want to miss a single recipe! Thanks for making vegan cooking so easy!
What is TVP please?
Can someone tell me what TVP is? Thanks!
yummm! looks so good and super easy :)
Hi Bernie and Anonymous,TVP is Textured Vegetable Protein, a byproduct of extracting soy bean oil. It is basically, dehydrated soy protein that needs to be boiled in water for a few minutes to regain it's faux meat texture. It can usually be bought in most bulk bin areas or purchased in bags.Hope this helps.
Hi Anonymous,You can replace the TVP with barley, couscous, pasta, vegetables, or rice.Try making a unique combination of these things.
What a beautiful stew! Perfect for me!

Brilliant recipes, I'm a lazy vegan (I only ever spend time on baking desserts) and this is briliant for me and my boyfriend. Will be giving some of these recipes a go soon. Love the layout too.
